Sekai Project, a publisher and licenser of Japanese new media and electronic entertainment, in cooperation with VisualArts/Key, today announced that CLANNAD Side Stories, the audio/visual companion to the world-renowned visual novel, CLANNAD, is now available on Steam for Windows-based PCs.
Delve further into the world of CLANNAD and experience the stories beyond the original visual novel adventure. Known as CLANNAD Hikari Mimamoru Sakamichi de in Japan, this collection of linear side stories allows fans to explore and experience new sides and twists to their favorite characters from the little town of Hikarizaka. These are the stories which are not explored in either the visual novel or in the anime adaptation.
Originally released on PlayStation®Portable in 2010, it combined the text of the respective novel published in 2005 and audio from the drama CD’s published in 2007. Each story centers around a specific character from CLANNAD: from Nagisa to Yoshino, even including Kyou’s pet, Botan. Each short story adds rewarding depth to the world of CLANNAD and its cast.
With the growing and continued support from CLANNAD fans across the globe, Sekai Project is now able to expand upon and dive deeper into the universe of Key’s world-renowned romantic visual novel. CLANNAD Side Stories is an enriching audio-visual experience that fans won’t want to miss!
