Creat Studios is pleased to announce next week’s North American launch of Germinator on PlayStation®Network for the PlayStation®3 and PlayStation®Vita computer entertainment systems on March 5th. Germinator also launches on PlayStation®Vita in Europe on March 6th, following its European PlayStation®3 release on February 13th.

Germinator features an exciting, character-styled departure from the traditional bubble-popping casual game genre and will be available individually for each platform and together in a discounted bundle.

Germinator is Creat’s first game title for the handheld Vita platform, with exciting touchscreen capabilities that create a whole new player experience. To demonstrate the touchscreen feature, check out our video demo:

Germinator dismisses traditional match-three bubble popping, featuring a crazy cast of multi-colored bubble germs, each with their own personalities and traits. Local multiplayer lets players battle either their friends or the game’s artificial intelligence. Over 200 levels provide hours of challenge for casual and expert gamers alike.

Germinator is loaded with special features, including video sharing on PlayStation®3 for YouTube. The “cross-save” function allows players to play on one device and continue their game on the other, PS3 to Vita, Vita to PS3. Germinator also provides Sony PlayStation® Move controller support and is presented in full 1080p.

“We are thrilled to have Germinator release on PlayStation®Vita,” says Vlad Starzhevsky, CEO of Creat Studios Inc. “From the touchscreen to cross-save features, combined with our outstanding game art and gameplay, Vita presents the ideal platform for players who are energized to try out an addictive new game like Germinator.”

Each game is $9.99/€9.99/₤7.99 per platform, or $14.99/€14.99/₤11.99 for the bundle. Germinator includes PlayStation® Trophy support and has been rated “E10+” for Everyone ages 10 and up by the Entertainment Software Rating Board for this platform.
