King Digital Entertainment plc (NYSE: KING), a leading interactive entertainment company for the mobile world, today announced its popular cross-platform game, Farm Heroes Saga, has launched on the Amazon Appstore.
Farm Heroes Saga is one of King’s most popular cross-platform titles, played by millions across the globe every day. This super cute and social game challenges gamers to switch and match various selections of lovable ‘Cropsie’ characters in rows of three or more, within specified move limits. With 565 levels available on Kindle tablets at launch, players will be able to synchronise their progression across a number of devices via Facebook, allowing them to play anytime, anywhere.
Farm Heroes Saga incorporates similar gameplay mechanics to King’s award-winning Candy Crush Saga, while also featuring a number of new and distinct ways of playing a match-3 puzzle. Additional gameplay elements include rechargeable boosters and regular challenging ‘Boss’ battles where players take on the evil ‘Rancid the Raccoon’ who is attempting to spoil the peaceful nature of the farm.
“We’ve had really positive feedback from Kindle players since we launched Candy Crush Saga, Pet Rescue Saga and Bubble Witch Saga on the platform, so we’re delighted to be able to bring another one of our popular titles to the Amazon Appstore with Farm Heroes Saga.” said Tommy Palm, Games Guru at King. “The Amazon platform provides a great environment for Farm Heroes Saga gameplay so we look forward to welcoming new players down to the farm.”
Free to download and play, Farm Heroes Saga will be available across all generations of the Kindle Fire, including Kindle Fire HD and Kindle Fire HDX tablets.
