Monster Buster: World Invasion for Android devices

Quirky monster fighting Augmented Reality title Monster Buster: World Invasion, developed by indie studio Tag of Joy, launches today on the Google Play Store for Android devices. The title is also available on iOS and Windows Phones and can be played interchangeably across all three platforms. Featuring 40 breeds of original handcrafted Earth invading monsters, that can only be tamed by an army of courageous monster busters equipped with a smartphone. Android owners can now get in on the action to locate and capture them with Monster Buster: World Invasion, an augmented reality monster fighting and collecting title with a twist on reality.

In Monster Buster: World Invasion, players explore the real world and discover new monsters, treasure chests and collect ingredients to create booster cookies and drinks. In order to collect monsters, players face-off their own monsters against the wild ones and use character’s special moves to defeat the untamed creatures. Players’ monsters gain experience with each fight and with each new level they increase their luck, attack or defence skills.

In addition to augmented reality fights, players can select a ‘Quick Fight’ match, that allows players to fight the monsters without leaving the comfort of their homes. While ‘Quick Fight’ matches allow players to gain experience and collect loot, the mode does not offer the option to capture new monsters, until exploration in the real world begins.

Monster Buster: World Invasion is an augmented reality monster collecting title featuring original 3D art, thrilling battles and an elaborate leveling up system that allows players to customize their monsters. The game swarms cities, towns and the countryside with 40 original hand crafted monsters lurking the streets, monuments and nature retreats. Players choose one of the three introductory characters and go on a mission to capture monsters using a location based scan and a smartphone camera to discover monstrous creatures in the augmented reality world.
