Mystical Adventure Game Qora Materializes on PC

Curve Digital today released Qora, a mystical adventure game from film-maker Holden Boyles, who successfully Kickstarted development of the game (under the working-title of Spirit) in April 2014. The game is now available on Steam for PC and Mac, with the Linux versions following shortly after.

Qora is a stunning exploration game, inspired by – and an homage to – classic adventure games which have gone before it. Players will explore beyond a mysterious temple hidden amongst a valley, discovering ancient mystical forces along the way. With a sharp sense of humour and intriguing – sometimes unsettling – landscapes and characters, the game will draw players into the world for an unforgettable experience.

The launch of Qora will continue Curve Digital’s mission to bring exciting, independently-created games to the attention of gamers who might have missed them otherwise. Curve has a great deal of experience publishing titles on PC, including their own original games such as Stealth Bastard, so the partnership with Holden Boyles has been a perfect fit.

Holden commented: “Creating Qora was truly a labour of love, and I’m very glad to have had the opportunity to work with Curve to bring the game both to my backers and players new to it”

Jason Perkins, Managing Director at Curve Digital added: “Qora’s brand of beautiful pixel-art adventure fits well within our PC catalogue. It’s been a pleasure working with Holden on this project, and we could forward to seeing what he comes with up in the future!”

Review copies of Qora are available now, and can be requested by getting in touch with Curve Digital directly using the contact information below. Full details and screenshots of the game can be obtained via the games press kit, available here.
