Award-winning veteran games developer and international games label Team17 has today announced its partnership with Cambridge based independent developer Ghost Town Games to publish the chaotic, couch co-op cooking game, Overcooked, on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
The Onion Kingdom is in danger and only the finest cooking can save it! In Overcooked players must journey through a variety of cruel and unusual kitchens on their quest to become master chefs capable of conquering an ancient edible evil which plagues the land. Play solo or engage in classic, chaotic couch co-op for up to four players in both co-operative and competitive challenge modes. You’ll have to cook a range of different dishes and work together in order to become the most effective and ultimate team!
Overcooked is the wonderful creation of Ghost Town Games, a new independent two person development team comprising of ex-Frontier Developments staff, Phil Duncan and Oli De-Vine.

Overcooked will be heading to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC later this year.
Those attending MCM London Comic Con later this week will be able to see Overcooked live on the Resero Games Stage from 12pm on Saturday 28th May! There Team17 will also be showcasing Strength of the SWORD: ULTIMATE, which is brimming with old school attitude, on stage at 12pm and the forthcoming, hilarious Worms W.M.D at 4pm.

SIMPLE CONTROLS/DEEP CHALLENGE
Overcooked is so easy to pick up that anyone can join in the fun, but finding a team who can communicate and co-ordinate their actions when the pizza hits the fan, that’s when only a well-oiled team of super-chefs will come out on top!
DIFFERENT WAYS TO PLAY
As you play the game you’ll unlock new levels, new chef characters and even competitive challenge levels which allow teams of 2 to go head-to-head in the kitchen. There’s also the ability to share a pad with a friend allowing 2 players to play using on one pad (or if you’re feeling really masochistic you can try to control both chefs on your own!)
However you want to play, if you think you can stand the heat, then get ready to enter the kitchen!
