Tower defense gaming gets a gangster makeover – it’s time to unleash the carnage.
There’s a new kind of addictive substance doing the rounds on Crime Coast – a pure, synthetic blue chocolate which the residents can’t stop eating. From Gundon to Crooklyn, criminals of all nations have been flocking to the coast, forming cartels, breaking bad and transforming every city into their very own gangster’s paradise.
Crime Coast’s detailed city building mechanics allows the player to construct everything from junkyards to mansions, and with a little help from a corrupt attorney hardened cons with a range of skills can be busted out of prison to form the ultimate criminal syndicate. Cashing in on protection rackets is a good way to build those ill-gotten gained, but raiding rival cities and stealing their loot is where the big money is at.
Featuring a rich and vibrant sprite-based art style and innovative social gameplay which allows players to collaborate with one another – or rat them out to the cops – Crime Coast takes tower defense gaming to new levels of chaos and destruction.
Pixel Squad CEO Will Mallouk said, “Crime Coast already seems to be as addictive as the blue chocolate featured in the game – some of the players in soft launch have clocked in over five days’ play. I hope they found time to sleep!”
