Thrustmaster® announced two new high-performance headsets developed specifically for Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six® Siege and exclusively licensed and endorsed by Ubisoft. The T.Assault Siege Collection Edition ($99.99) and the Y-300CPX Siege Collection Edition ($59.99) are fine-tuned for maximizing performance in Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege and will be available at two price points to appeal to both the hardcore competitor as well as the casual gamer. The units will be available at the same time as the game’s December DLC.
T.Assault Siege Collection Headset (PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One and PC).
With its officially licensed interchangeable Rainbow Six Siege decorative plates and optimized sound quality, the headset offers every advantage required to dominate the battleground. Sound quality is utmost to gamers, and the T.Assault features advanced 50mm analytic drivers that enable tremendous audio fidelity without saturation, while the sound pressure level (116dB SPL) prevents distortion at a rate of ≤1%. The unidirectional microphone boasts a signal-to-noise ratio of 56dB and is fully adjustable and detachable.
The newly designed Thrustmaster headset features a metal skeleton for durability and 25mm ear cushions for hours of comfort thanks to high-quality memory foam and an integrated gel layer, which also enhances isolation. The volume button located on the earcup is for in-game sound, while the microphone has its own volume control and mute toggle on the cable.
Y-300CPX Siege Collection Headset (PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®3 computer entertainment systems, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Nintendo SwitchTM system, PC/Mac, tablets and smartphones)
This multiplatform headset is the perfect sound solution for gamers who want enormous flexibility in their headset at a great price. Its unique, Y-shaped design optimizes comfort, and its audio performance is robust thanks to the brilliant earcup design which acts as a bass amplifier. The 50mm drivers reproduce clear sound, while the large ultra-soft ear cups serve to effectively eliminate outside interference. The unit shares the same high-end unidirectional microphone as its T.Assault counterpart.
The advanced controls on the Y-300CPX Siege headset enable players to adjust audio levels of the game, the microphone and even the bass response, while a voice feedback system on the controller provides a personalized game experience.
