ROBOTS NEED LOVE TOO Puzzle Game Brings Brainteasers and Gender Equality Message

Elephant Mouse, the independent game publisher of the iOS hits Star Trek™ Rivals and Archetype, today announced it has released the robot-themed romantic puzzle game, ROBOTS NEED LOVE TOO, for iOS with Android to follow soon. The inclusive game is available as a free download on the iTunes App Store for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch devices.

Designed for today’s advanced robots as well as particularly clever humans, ROBOTS NEED LOVE TOO is a stimulating puzzle game where players help a pair of lovesick bots find true love. Players slide directional arrows to “program” a safe path so the robots can unite for a tender moment. New challenges unfold as the story progresses-the corporate powers that be won’t accept any deviation from the lovers’ programmed parameters. It’s up to the player to overcome obstacles and unite the lovers. Each level advances a barrier-transcending story of forbidden love as two robots from different sides of the circuit board try to build a relationship. Players can freely select the gender identity of both robots to choose their own kind of love story.

“Help our robots escape a soul-crushing world of corporate dehumanization! ROBOTS NEED LOVE TOO features clever brainteasers, challenging gameplay, and the addictive joy of helping two robots find love together,” said Elephant Mouse Studio Director Heather Chandler. “We’re proud to create a GLAAD-endorsed game with an inclusive view of love.”

“ROBOTS NEED LOVE TOO is a perfect example of where we hope more video games are heading, in that it presents simple customization options that allow every player to have a personalized and engaging playing experience regardless of how they personally identify,” said Matt Kane, Director of Entertainment Media, GLAAD. “As the industry expands to new audiences, inclusivity needs to become a standard goal of the game development process, and this is a very charming example of how to do it right.”
•Inclusive design: choose from 6 gender pronouns (she, he, they, zie, ey, and xie)
•Every level is packed with fun brainteasers
•Romantic story unfolds as players solve clever, layered puzzles
•Easy to get into but challenging to complete
•Free-to-play with 25 free levels and no ex$pen$ive surprises
