Gunfire Games, a leading independent developer of video games including the award-winning Chronos, has announced its next title for the Oculus Rift virtual reality headset, From Other Suns. In this action-adventure experience, players will pilot their own ship on a quest to try to save humanity, or just joyride through the galaxy until its extinction.
Set to launch Fall of 2017, From Other Suns takes players on a sci-fi adventure that soon turns catastrophic when the collapse hits. Now half of humanity is trapped on the far side of a wormhole with ruthless pirates, scheming corporations, and worse — new threats from outside known space. Danger is at every jump this side of the wormhole! Players will tour the sector, upgrading their ship, stockpiling weapons and fighting for their lives. Death doesn’t spell the end; once players die they will then discover new challenges in their next play through. The game offers Co-Op multiplayer so players can team up with friends to take on the challenges together!

From Other Suns uses Anomotion, an IK solution for Unreal Engine 4 that provides realistic full body IK for characters.
