Tagplay is extremely proud to announce the free release of Car Jack Streets: Director’s Cut onto Apple’s App Store.
In 2009 Car Jack Streets blew Apple gamers away with its quality, endless game play, and relentless fun. It was the first sandbox gaming experience available on mobile devices and was one of the first games to demonstrate the App Store’s potential as a market place for quality core-focused games. The game’s resulting success was inevitable as it was enormous then, with it being downloaded and played by millions of players around the world and achieving universal media acclaim.
To mark the game’s 4th year anniversary – and to give the game a swansong before its predecessor is released – Tagplay has today launched a free anniversary edition on the App Store. Over the past few months the company has been busy working on the original title to iron out bugs and to add support for a raft of new Apple devices including iPhones 4s and 5, iPads 2 and 3, etc, in full HD 60fps. The company has additionally included a whole host of new features, new weapons and new vehicles, raising the original entertainment value and making the new Car Jack Streets: Director’s Cut edition one not to miss!
Tagplay boss Paul Farley noted “We are delighted to release Car Jack Streets: Directors Cut, which includes a number of great improvements over the original game and is free to play for the first time. Car Jack Streets continues to have a large and active player base so we’re pleased to now give players with iPads and iPhone 5’s the very best experience possible for those devices!”
Car Jack Streets: Director’s cut has been released worldwide in English, French, Italian, German and Spanish as a free game as a ‘thank you’ all of our fans who have been awaiting the new Car Jack Streets 2 in addition to allowing new Apple players to experience this seminal mobile game for free!
