‘Tap Star: Cycling Tour’ a global multiplayer tournament on iOS & Android!

As the world watches events unfold in Tour de France 2014, the world can play together and shape events in the Tap Star: Cycling Tour tournament! In the game players get the chance to represent one of the 22 competing teams. Together with their team members they can help their team lift the cup at the climax of the tournament.

Tap Star: Cycling Tour is available now for both iOS & Android.

GameDigits Ltd., developer of hit iOS games Auction Wars: Storage King and Chicks vs Kittens, today announces its new title, Tap Star: Cycling Tour. The game is available on iOS and Android to download.

In Tap Star: Cycling Tour the player can do what most can only dream of and represent their team in the world’s number one cycling race. Just like the Tour de France, the teams go head to head in a worldwide online multiplayer competition. Only one team can lift the cup!

With the simple controls, players can navigate through the cycling tour and score points along the way. The top 100 players from each team affect their team’s position on a global leaderboard. The leaderboard updates in real time, allowing each team to see where they stand against one another as the tournament progresses. When the tournament ends the team at the top of the leaderboard will win the Tap Star Cycling Tour Cup and their teams logo will be proudly displayed for all to see in the game!

The game features two trophies to be won. As well as the cup, an extra award is given to the team with the most players. Tap Star: Cycling Tour was designed to offer a fun mobile game experience and the controls are so simple that anyone can play.

Lindsey Greenwood from GameDigits Ltd. commented “This is a challenging pick up and play game that cycling fans around the world will love! Just like the real thing, Tap Star: Cycling Tour is very competitive and there’s a lot of opportunity for high score competitions between friends. With the global leaderboards and four trophies up for grabs, the competition reaches around the world – and we’re hoping to see teams pull together, to ensure that their side claims the cup when the tournament ends.”
