Deadpan Dodo Art Factory has announced today the release of Words Gone AWOL: Funny Quotes where the aim is to find the word missing from a funny quote.
The word guessing game is available on Apple AppStore, Google Play and Amazon AppStore, for all iOS and Android devices, including the Kindle family.
Marketing Manager at Deadpan Dodo, Bibiana Bertone, commented yesterday: “After the release of Watchama, which reached an audience of gamers of all ages, we decided to make another quote game, but this time easier to approach, and focused on fun! So we hand-picked over 300 funny quotes, and the result is a content that offers many hours of real fun! We guarantee our users to laugh on a regular basis with this game!”
The funny quotes have been selected from well-known writers, like Oscar Wilde, Ambrose Bierce and George Bernard Shaw and stand-up comedians and entertainers, like George Carlin, Steven Wright, Woody Allen or Groucho Marx. The player has to type the missing word in the sentence with a given set of letters in order to complete the puzzle, and work his way through all 30 levels.
“We wanted to create a smart game, easy to understand and easy to play, that could potentially be played alone but also liberate its full potential with a group of friends or the family around, without the pressure of a timer. That is why Words Gone AWOL: Funny Quotes is an easy but challenging puzzle game, where everyone can improve their brain skills. After the worldwide success of Watchama, our team has a new opportunity to make another significant breakthroughs in the word guessing games world.” says CEO of Deadpan Dodo.
Words Gone AWOL: Funny Quotes was designed and created using HybriD*, Deadpan Dodo’s proprietary game engine, based on the lua SDK Corona from CoronaLabs.
HybriD* supports all iOS devices, all Android devices, as well as all Kindle readers.
