AAA developer Sean Noonan (Far Cry 4, Watch_Dogs) has launched his first independent title, Jack B. Nimble for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch at the price of $1.99 / £1.49 / 1,79 € No ads, no in app purchases, just game.

You are placed in the shoes of the titular character, Jack B. Nimble, in a fast paced 8bit/retro-Gameboy styled platform-action game. You’ll be spending most your time jumping and whipping with an intuitive control scheme – all via a single input where you tap once to jump, and whilst airborne, tap again to whip! No awful on-screen controls to be found!
Jack B. Nimble is a score attack game, where you must run and leap across gaps over a distance for a base level of points. Candles act as a multiplier when whipped, and maintaining the accuracy of your whip is key to bagging all of the points you’ve earned, creating a strong risk/reward dynamic.
