Spanish indie studio Codigames has announced that the true action RPG game for mobile devices Dungeon Legends is now available for free on Google Play. The game brings the classic action RPG genre to Android players.
Dungeon Legends hit today Google Play after its success on the App Store. It has been downloaded more than 300.000 times since its launch on iOS devices on September
Codigames team worked very hard to be sure the Android version of Dungeon Legends take advantage of the latest features of Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Furthermore, thanks to the optimization process the studio did, the game takes the most of Android Kitkat, and Android 5.0 Lollipop devices.
“We are very proud of Dungeon Legends”, Francisco Martinez, Codigames CEO, admits, “Taking the ARPG genre to mobile devices, maintaining the gameplay and the soul of those games, was an exciting experience. We have included the classic campaign mode, but also we have create amazing multiplayer modes”, Martínez continues, “because we know that playing with friends is always better than play alone”.
Dungeon Legends includes a campaign mode, and a real-time co-op mode. Up to 4 players can play in the same mission via Internet connection. Those who look for a real challenge can enter the Arena and play against other players in PvP battles.
Players can also join clans and access exclusive events. They can fight in the clan wars and become the best clan in the world.
Dungeon Legends gives player the opportunity to become a member of the Dwarfs, who descend into the dungeons for gold and glory. In their adventures, players should train their characters, and improve their stats.
There are different skills to unlock, that can be used in the adventures, and in the PvP modes. The players can configure their own character, choosing the skills they want to use before each battle. The skill selector allows players to adapt their Dwarves to the gameplay they are comfortable with (damage, healer, tank, …). The skills can be configured at any time, so players can test new configurations or they can specialize in a skill branch.
