Dutch video games publisher, Gamious, today announced that its new game Dark Day LA is now available for download on iPad. Dark Day LA is a unique game in which two players take opposite roles of a vampire and a vampire hunter and battle each other on one screen. Dark Day LA won the first prize at this year’s Global Game Jam in Hilversum (the Netherlands). Dark Day LA will be available in the iTunes App Store for $1.99 (€1.79).

Dark Day LA is played by two players on one screen. One player assumes the role of a vampire and must replenish his thirst for blood without getting noticed. The other player is a sniper and must try to spot the vampire and take him down with one of his silver bullets. The game features highly intuitive and precise controls. It requires nerves of steel to outwit your opponent sitting only inches away from you.
