Featuring tight and responsive controls, a super-agile character and tricky enemies, Featherpunk Prime is a challenging twin-stick shooter with platforming elements. Players control a super Cyber-Flamingo armed to the beak with bullets, mines and rockets, as they blast, boost, slide and shoot their way past hordes of Avian Warbots. The mission is simple: storm the tower, defeat the Evil Guardians and rescue the flamingos!
Cybirdroid HQ is a colourful and dense bio-mechanical building, configured differently on each play. The tower is filled with a variety of cunning enemies that use a range of attacks and weapons. Each sector ends with a brutal boss battle that demands quick responses and a slick trigger finger. The player can upgrade their Cyber-Flamingo using Tekcells dropped by defeated enemies, and gain new weaponry and powers by defeating the Cybirdroid Guardians. The pulsating avian-disco soundtrack keeps the action flowing and the feathers flying!
Super Hatch Games is a London based team comprised of two ex-Sony developers. After eight years working on console games, most recently Playstation VR, the artist and programmer decided to go indie in July 2015. Featherpunk Prime is the studio’s first release.
