Funcom is excited to announce the launch of Issue #14: Call of the Nameless, the latest major content update for its modern-day massively multiplayer online game The Secret World. This is the fourteenth major update for the myths, legends, and conspiracies themed MMO, and once again players can look forward to new content and exciting storylines which expand upon the already vast online universe.
Head into the deep deserts of Egypt and embark upon a brand new adventure. The update offers six new main Missions which spin a tale inspired by the famous Arabian stories One Thousand and One Nights.
“I love how The Secret World lets us tell any type of story we want,” says Game Director Romain Amiel. “Whether it is Indiana Jones, James Bond, Doctor Who, norse mythology, conspiracy theories or the Arabian Nights stories themselves, we like to draw inspiration from all sorts of different sources when making great adventures for our players.”
Issue #14: Call of the Nameless also contains many new features such as a streamlined teleport system, a new mechanic for Elite Abilities and the introduction of Jump Pads which add brand new elements to encounters and puzzles.
The Collector’s Edition of Issue #14 includes the following exclusive items: the Arabian Dreams outfit, a Scarab Beetle pet and the Lorentzian Fabricator v3, which allows players to teleport directly to Egypt.
