Cinemaware announce the return of Defender of the Crown for iOS

Legendary game developer Cinemaware is proud to announce that the classic 1986 game Defender of the Crown has returned to iOS mobile devices!

A new era for iOS has begun! A time of lusty wenches and black hearted villains. King Richard has been murdered and England is thrown into civil war. It’s up to you to protect the kingdom and defend freedom against the hated Normans! Victory will not come easy. To save England your skills as swordsman and military leader will be severely tested! But should you succeed, you’ll win the Crown of England and the love of a beautiful damsel!

Defender of the Crown (Emulated Amiga Edition) features the original game, complete with all of the original content, story and gameplay sequences. The game also features a customized and improved mobile control interface. Don’t hesitate and enjoy the heart-pounding action as you enter joust tournaments, swordfight to save a damsel in distress, or siege castles!

Both the Apple iOS version and the Android version are now available. Defender of the Crown (Emulated Amiga Edition) is available on Apple’s iTunes, Google Play store and Amazon’s AppStore.
