Frantic Memory Game Huemory Now Available for iOS and Windows Phone

After a successful launch on Google Play this past summer, the Android hit memory game Huemory is now available on iOS and Windows Phone. Huemory challenges players to memorize shapes of the same color and identify them quickly, but only after the colors have been removed.

“Huemory started life not as a game, but as my attempt to create an Ishihara Test (color-blindness) style font,” admits Deepak Menon Madathil, founder of Pixel Ape Studios. “But during creation, the colorful dots looks so beautiful and zen-like on the screen that, in my heart, I knew it had to be a game. So I got to work, shared the prototype with friends, took their feedback to heart – and Huemory was the result.”

Building on the core gameplay, Huemory offers a number of modes to keep players entertained. They’ll be able to go head-to-head and compete with friends, tackle difficulties from “baby” to “hardcore,” and even switch to a colorblind-friendly mode that ensures the game remains accessible to everyone.

As players progress deeper into Huemory, they’ll uncover helpful powerups and hindering traps that add an extra layer of challenge to keep gamers on their toes. Using these, players will be able to reset a level, view a quick peek at the colors, or stumble into an early death by committing to the wrong color. With practice and skill, everyone has the potential to become a Huemory master.

Huemory is now available as a free download from the App Store, Windows Phone Store, and Google Play. Be sure to check out the Huemory trailer.
