Introducing Puzzle Chef – the mobile game for true food lovers

gumi, a leading Japanese developer and mobile games publisher, has launched Puzzle Chef, the mobile puzzle game for food lovers everywhere.

Available for free on the App Store for iPhone and iPad, Puzzle Chef gives gourmands the chance to let their taste buds run wild!

Puzzle Chef allows players to combine several ingredients to become the best of chefs and prepare appetising dishes. The more the player skilfully mixes the elements, the more points they get, as well as unlocking cooking utensils that help them score higher.

With 75 levels spread over five worlds (Small City, Pasta Via, Driveway Sushi, Burger Street and Oriental Palace), the player can play with ingredients from the world’s best-loved dishes. Each completed recipe gives the player access to the next level where new ingredients are available.

Nicolas Godement-Berline, GM of gumi Europe, said: “Puzzle Chef is the perfect game for budding chefs and food lovers. As well as being a fun social game that players can enjoy with friends, Puzzle Chef helps to educate food fans, teaching them about different types of cuisine.

Thanks to the social features of Puzzle Chef, each player can challenge their friends via Facebook and compare their scores. The game can be played offline and players can progress quicker through shopping bonus packs.

Puzzle Chef is available in 97 countries and seven different languages, with new features planned for the coming months to further immerse players in the world of cooking. The game is user friendly and intuitive and features:

· Chain reactions and boosters to multiply your score
· Three mouth-watering game modes: cook a dish, clean your board, and prepare a full menu
