‘Sensible’ Gaming Legend Jon Hare launches Word Explorer

AppyNation are pleased to announce the release of Word Explorer, a brand new word game for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch devices from the creative mind of Jon Hare, the legendary British game designer behind a string of classic games of the 8 and 16-bit eras including Wizball, Mega lo Mania, Cannon Fodder and Sensible World of Soccer.

Word Explorer invites players on an epic journey around the world, progressing from city to city and country to country by solving thousands of fiendish word puzzles, while collecting photographs of local wildlife, landmarks and attractions along the way.

Word Explorer is incredibly easy to play – simply slide the letters into the right order to spell the answer to each clue. Earn coins to buy flights and boat trips, new Cameras, Travel cards, Hints and Bonus Photos, all of which will aid you in your quest to explore every corner of the world and snap everything in sight!

With over 25,000 word clues to decipher and thousands of beautiful full-screen photographs to collect (complete with associated facts and trivia), Word Explorer offers many hours of entertainment for all the family.

Word Explorer also features online multiplayer through Game Center, including world ranking and leaderboards, allowing you to challenge your friends and players around the world in a race to unscramble clues.
