As we have seen in past books, movies and video games, it is often what we normally perceive to be innocent and harmless which has the potential to scare us the most. That is the case in psychological horror game The Park, which Funcom announced has now been released on Nintendo Switch.
The Park provides a short, but intense story-driven psychological horror experience. Set in Atlantic Island Park after closing hours, you assume the role of Lorraine, in search for her son Callum. His quest to find his missing teddy bear has led him on a path through a park haunted by tragedy and drama. Atlantic Island Park has a history of freak accidents and grotesque killings, and locals worry it is far from done claiming innocent lives…
The Park was first released on Windows PC back in 2015 and on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2016. It was originally released in English, but as of this week it has also been translated into French, German, Spanish, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Simplified Chinese and Japanese on PC and PlayStation 4, with Xbox One soon to follow.
