We Were Here Too, the second entry in the We Were Here series, released on Xbox One. With the first two games now released, the stage is set for the upcoming third entry – We Were Here Together – to arrive on Xbox One in early 2020.

You and a partner are Antarctic explorers who find themselves trapped inside a mysterious medieval castle deep in the frozen wastes. The story of the sinister Castle Rock continues in the second entry We Were Here Too, though the games can be played separately and in any order. The games offer a digital escape room experience, perfect for a night in! We Were Here Too introduces new challenges and puzzles, which will make escaping a real challenge, especially if you planned to escape together…
We Were Here Together coming to Xbox One and Windows PC
With over 1,500,000 downloads of the prequel game We Were Here and more than 500,000 copies of We Were Here Too sold, it’s almost time for the third entry in the series to see the light of day!
We Were Here Together will release on Windows PC via Steam in just one more week on October 10. What’s more, an Xbox One release is today confirmed for early next year. It will be the largest entry in the series so far, and features new gameplay mechanics, stunning outdoor locations, more coop puzzles and a deeper look into the story of Castle Rock.
The We Were Here Series
Whether or not you’ve played a We Were Here game before, you can dive right into any We Were Here game and start unravelling the secrets of Castle Rock, the Antarctic fortress at the heart of the series. Forced inside by a terrible blizzard, it quickly becomes clear to the players that this is no ordinary ruin… and that there is no ordinary way out. You and a co-op partner will need to be each other’s eyes and ears as you endeavour to escape. Every puzzle requires communication to solve – you can talk to each other, or you can stay trapped forever.
The series began in 2017 when the prequel We Were Here was released on Steam. It was soon followed by the second episode We Were Here Too in early 2018. An Xbox One release for We Were Here followed in late 2019, with We Were Here Too released today! The series will continue with the upcoming new game We Were Here Together. Future episodes will bring more of the exploration, cooperative puzzle solving and the story of Castle Rock that made We Were Here so compelling.
We Were Here and We Were Here Too are both available on Steam and Xbox One. We Were Here Together is expected this October 10 on Windows PC, with an Xbox release early next year.
