Peaksel LLC has just released another educational game for boys and girls. And parents, too. The new math game is free and available on Google Play.
Educational games are often underestimated and thought of as boring because they contain the word “educational”. However, Zeus vs. Monsters – Math Game, the latest product of Peaksel’s, has proven that math games, as well as other educational games, can be fun and joyful.
Peaksel introduced a novelty in this game. They added an option “For educators”, which keeps track of correct and wrong answers. This is supposed to help parents to find out which mathematical operation is their child’s weakness or which range of numbers is the child’s current limit (e.g. 0-10, 0-100, or 0-1000). Aleksandra Ivic made a comment on this: “At Peaksel, we like to think there is more to playing games than just having fun. The reason why we keep releasing educational games is that we want to make at least a part of learning process and practice to be fun and easy for kids.”
Moreover, the game has a Greek mythology theme and its goal is to introduce children to mythological gods and creatures from ancient Greece. The game map contains pictures of ten mythological creatures with short texts which provide basic knowledge about them adapted to children’s age.
Children can play this game with two different heroes: Zeus and Athena. Milica Denic of Peaksel put a big smile on her face when asked about the game and said that “it makes your brain work hundred miles per hour!”
