The two “Red Johnson’s Chronicles” PC titles, the punchy adventure saga, arrive on Steam as a bundle. Players will discover both games in the same offer.
After leaving its mark on consoles (PS3 and XBOX 360), PC, and more recently mobiles and tablets, Red Johnson, the smoldering-looking investigator, is determined to bring some justice on Steam.
In this full version (1&2), Microïds, the publisher specializing in adventure gaming, takes the player to the streets of the corrupt Metropolis city. As the private detective Red Johnson, the player will start helping out the police, far too permissive according to him, in order to solve the last murder case near the Drownedmen’s Bridge.
The player will have to use his sense of observation and logic to distinguish between the truth and the falsehood, by searching every single dark corner of the crime scene, by questioning the witnesses and by getting out of every tricky and sometimes lethal situation he will come across.
During the whole adventure, the player shall collect various objects that he will then have to use wisely in the scene or when facing the different protagonists of the story in order to progress in his quest for truth.
Many puzzles punctuate Red’s progress in his investigation. Recreating an Identikit and repairing the camera are some of the original sequences required to progress in the adventure.
