Train Sim World 2020 is right on schedule, pulling onto Windows PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 with authentic routes new to 2020 and detailed features designed for both beginners and experienced players.
Train Sim World 2020 – here’s what you’ll find inside:
• Over 24 hours of curated gameplay for each Train Sim World 2020 route via the new ‘Journey’ system. Combining tutorials, scenarios and timetabled services, this will help guide you from mission to mission so you can build up your skills.
• The brand new scoring system gives you new ways to boost your skills – how far did you miss the platform by, how late were you at each stop, how did speeding impact your final score. Full details are now visible in-game or on the post-mission debrief screen so you can constantly sharpen your skills.
• More to explore as the routes are refreshed! Train Sim World 2020 includes hundreds of services and scenarios with a wide range of freight and commuter objectives across four incredible routes – the Main Spessart Bahn, Northern Trans-Pennine, Long Island Rail Road and the Great Western Express.
• The Digital Deluxe Edition also includes the brand new Peninsula Corridor route, running Caltrain services from San Jose to San Francisco!
Train Sim World 2020 includes three of the best routes from the UK, US and Germany. The Main Spessart Bahn runs through industrial German countryside, featuring 3 drivable engines and brand new banking operations. If you’re after some metropolitan hustle, the Long Island Rail Road is built for people who enjoy navigating busy stretches of track, including America’s largest rail junction at Jamaica Station. For those who miss the way things were, take a trip back to the 1980s along the Northern Trans-Pennine, a tricky route that captures the UK’s industrial heartland at a time when modern safety and signaling systems simply did not exist.
New players can pick up Train Sim World 2020 or the Digital Deluxe Edition on PC, Xbox or PlayStation 4 and enjoy all our new features. Existing players receive Train Sim Worlds feature update for free and if they don’t already own Main Spessart Bahn, Northern Trans-Pennine or Long Island Rail Road they can expand their collection by purchasing from the in-game store, where a wide range of additional routes and locos are also available.
The Digital Deluxe Edition will also include the brand new Peninsula Corridor route, putting players in the cab of Caltrain services stretching from San Francisco to San Jose with authentic freight and passenger operations. This route is also available to purchase separately.
Train Sim World 2020 is available on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC (via Steam)
