Based on the success of the game’s prequel, Tennis in the Face, we know there are a lot of people out there who very much enjoy the combination of brain teasing puzzling and slapstick humor the game provides.” says Tero Alatalo, CEO of 10tons Ltd.
In Baseball Riot the player assumes the role of a former baseball star Gabe Carpaccio on his crusade to defeat the corrupt energy drink manufacturer Explodz Inc. The player travels through the US by clearing more than 100 levels of Explodz energy drink crazed goons.
The gameplay is easy to pick up and play; the player aims, swings the bat and watches a baseball knock out adversaries such as obnoxious fans, leery catchers, biased umpires and more. The enemies lurking behind cover are knocked out by bouncing the ball of walls and obstacles or by setting off explosive chain reactions.
